Under a $275,287.61 contract, footpaths were constructed in the East Kingstown communities.

Speaking on the project via Facebook, Unity Labour Party Candidate (ULP) for East Kingstown, Hon. Luke Browne, noted that “the government is fully committed to improving access to homes and in general upgrading community infrastructure through all available mechanisms and funding arrangements.”

“This is what you call community development,” he added.

Project Manager of the BNTF, Dunstan Johnson, previously noted that the BNTF’s projects continue to impact the lives of the poor, vulnerable, and marginalised.
