The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment (MOHWE) on Thursday (Feb. 27) announced that a construction project on the Sandy Bay Clinic has commenced.
The construction project is being carried out in three parts; Retrofitting of facility to serve as temporary clinic; Renovation of actual clinic and Construction of nurse quarters.
A budget of $400,000.00 has been allocated for the project, which is projected to be complete within six months.
The MOHWE says it is looking after healthcare needs beyond the Dry River and for all Vincentians.
Minister of Health, Wellness and the Environment, Hon. Luke Browne, recently announced while on the WakeUpCall that the MOHWE will be embarking on projects to have several clinic and hospitals across St. Vincent and the Grenadines upgraded.
