The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment on Tuesday (Feb. 18) announced that 24-hour X-Ray services are now available at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH).
Speaking on the #WakeUpCall with Christal and Tha Fugitive on Wednesday (Feb. 19) morning, Minister of Health, Wellness and the Environment, Hon. Luke Browne shared that this facilitation was made possible by placing staff on a shift system. Prior to this, staff in the Radiology Department worked only from 8am – 4pm daily.
The 24-hour X-Ray services will facilitate the hospital wards and the Accident and Emergency Department.
Minister Browne informed that arrangements are being made for the MCMH’s Laboratory and Pharmacy to transition into operating on a 24-hour basis as well.
