Two Funeral Homes Donate Flat Screen TVs to MCMH

The Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH) has become the recipient of four (4) flat screen televisions (TVs), donated by two (2) funeral homes here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

On Tuesday February 18th, 2020, the Joseph DaSilva’s Memorial Funeral Home made the donation of a 55″ TV. Staff members of the funeral home were present at the MCMH to present their donation.

The second donation was made on Friday February 21st, 2020, this time, three (3) TVs were presented. The donation came compliments the Everready Funeral Home.

The presentation of the 40″ TV was done by representative, Somora Gaymes.

To receive both donations on behalf of the MCMH were Deputy Hospital Administrator, Andrew Williams; Assist. Medical Records Librarian, Juliet Edwards; Departmental Manager for Accident and Emergency, Sr. Jackson and Ward Sister, Cheryll-Ann Noel.

Speaking on both donations, Mr. Williams thanked the funeral homes for their donations, saying they will help to make persons feel more comfortable while waiting for attendance at the facility, or while being a patient on the ward; although it is not intended for persons to have a long stay at the hospital.

The MCMH is currently conducting a refurbishment project on the Accident & Emergency Department.
