The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment (MOHWE) informed that as of 6pm Monday (Apr. 13), 164 persons have been quarantined here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG).

To date, SVG has recorded twelve cases of COVID-19, with a total of 87 persons tested.

All positive test results are imported cases as SVG has no record of community spread.

Patient zero has recovered and been given the all clear by medical officials, thus SVG has eleven active COVID-19 cases. No COVID-19 related deaths have been recorded in SVG, though nationals abroad who tested positive for the virus have died.

The Ministry also informed that two test results are pending.

SVG is currently doing testing at the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) Lab in Trinidad & Tobago.
