In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment (MOHWE) continues to promote physical distancing.
The MOHWE in a release on Tuesday (Apr. 7) pleaded with citizens to refrain from leaving home.
“Please do not leave your homes unless necessary. When out in public, maintain 3-feet distance from other persons. Avoid crowded places and mass gatherings.”
The Ministry also gave a directive with regard to clinic visits.
“Do not attend district clinics unless necessary. Please call your local health centre for information on repeating prescriptions.”
The government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines has issued a “stay at home” advisory for the upcoming Easter weekend, urging residents not to participate in a public or private gatherings.
