Rotary Club of St. Vincent South donates supplies to Ministry of Health

Rotary Club of St. Vincent South has donated a container of supplies to the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment.

Health Minister, Hon. Luke Browne shared this via his Facebook page, noting that the supplies included hospital beds, surgical equipment, medical supplies, wheel chairs, walking canes and other items.

He informed that these items will be used at the Isolation Center in Argyle, which is yet to become operational. Browne previously informed that the building has been handed over to the government.

First Caribbean International Bank (FCIB) has also donated to the Health Ministry, towards this nation’s fight against COVID-19, contributing $27,000.

The cheque was handed over by FCIB’s Country Head, Mrs. Shelly-Ann Samuel and received by Minister Browne.

Browne expressed thanks to the banking institution, noting that his Ministry continues to be focused on containing the spread of the deadly virus.
