The Ministry of Agriculture wishes to advise that the export of agriculture commodities to Barbados has resumed as of today, Monday April 20th, 2020.
Traders exporting to Barbados are asked to follow all protocols advised by the Ministry of Health regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
Quarantine officers and other technical and administrative staff from the Ministry of Agriculture will be at the WIBDECO Shed from 8:00am, to assist traders. This is to ensure that the shipment is conducted in a timely manner.
Traders are requested to be on time and to have all shipping documents readily available, since quarantine officers will be processing exports for Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados at the same time.
