On Tuesday (Apr. 14), the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines made a donation to the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to assist the nation in its fight against the new coronavirus (COVID-19).
Francisco Pérez Santana, Head of the Venezuelan Diplomatic Mission, delivered thirteen (13) boxes containing medical supplies.
The supplies included surgical gloves, sterilized surgical gowns and non-sterile surgical overalls, to be used by Vincentian medical personnel in their fight against the coronavirus.
“We bring a message of solidarity and brotherhood from the President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro; everything we do for our brothers and sisters in the Caribbean we do from our heart,” said Francisco Pérez.
This donation was done within the framework of the relations of brotherhood and cooperation that unites both nations.
