Vincy Makers, a local 3D printing company, on last Thursday, donated face shields to medical professionals in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The face shields were specifically designed to offer an additional layer of protection in the discharge of duties by medical personnel. The company’s founders, Tariq Roberts and Mevrick Henry, indicated that they are dedicated to supporting the front-line workers and the medical community in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The company is continually developing protective solutions in the fight against COVID-19 as supply chains have been interrupted worldwide, and there is a demand for personal protection equipment (PPE).
Vincy Makers was awarded a grant under the Business Incubation Programme of the Caribbean Infrastructure Programme (CARCIP).
