Jamaica’s COVID-19 tally now at 605

Jamaica confirmed six more COVID-19 cases on Tuesday (June 9), bringing the total so far to 605.

The first confirmed case of the virus in Jamaica was announced on March 10.

Three of the latest patients arrived on a flight from the United States, one from the United Kingdom, and two on a cruise ship that recently docked in the north coast town of Falmouth.

So far 405 patients have recovered from the virus.

10 deaths have been recorded.
