St. Vincent and the Grenadines’ (SVG) Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment on Wednesday (June 3) signed a service contract with Global Medica for CT Scan and X-Ray machines at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH).
According to Health Minister, Hon. Luke Browne, this contract will make provision for replacement parts required to fix the aforementioned machines.
Browne informed via Facebook that the CT Scan machine at the MCMH is currently out of service, noting that the ministry is “working very hard to get it back online as soon as possible.”
The health minister shared that a technician recently visited SVG.
“Recently, we took the very proactive step of flying in a Global Medica technician through special arrangements to do an assessment.”
“We are committed to providing optimum access to health services, Browne concluded.”
