SVG Police to award scholarships and bursaries to CPEA students

The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) in collaboration with the SVG Police Cooperative Credit Union (SVGPCCU) and the SVG Ex-Police Association will on Wednesday (Aug. 19) host its annual scholarship and bursary awards ceremony under the theme; “The road to success is paved with many obstacles – overcome them and achieve your goals”.

A total of fifty four (54) scholarships and twelve (12) bursaries will be awarded to students who passed the 2020 Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA) examinations.

The ceremony will commence at 2:30 pm at the Police Canteen, located on the third floor of the Kingstown Vegetable Market.

Remarks will be delivered by Commissioner of Police, Mr. Colin John; Vice president of the Police Cooperative Credit Union; Station Sergeant Brenton Smith; a representative from the Ministry of Education and Mr. Michael Charles, President of the SVG Ex-Police Association.

The keynote address will be delivered by Ms. Alana McMaster, Bank Officer at Bank of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and a former recipient of a Police Scholarship.

Awardees and parents and guardians are asked to be seated at 2:00 pm.
