SVG records 10th homicide for 2021; One suspect in custody

One suspect is in police custody assisting with investigations following the shooting death of a 28 year old Barrouallie resident.

Dead is Manajaka Solomon. Solomon’s death marks the 10th homicide recorded in St. Vincent and the Grenadines for 2021.

The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) has launched an investigation into the shooting incident that occurred at approximately 10:20pm on Wednesday (Apr. 14) in Barrouallie.

According to police investigations, an assailant with malice aforethought, caused the death of Solomon by shooting him about his body with a gun.

A post mortem examination is expected to be carried on the body of the deceased to ascertain the exact cause of death.

Investigations are ongoing.
